Summer camp scholarships will be awarded to 38 Dike Newell and Fisher Mitchell students thanks to a grant funded by Bowdoin's Common Good Center!

The Bath Elementary PTA board recognizes that the joys of summer camp should be accessible to all children, and understands that for many families the cost can be a great financial burden. This was the motivation for their application to the Common Good Center at Bowdoin College for a grant that would fund a limited amount of Summer Camp scholarships for children enrolled in the 2008-2009 school year at Dike Newell and Fisher Mitchell. We are thrilled to announce that not only did the Common Good Center award the grant, but with the help of generous donations from area Day Camps, the Bath Elementary PTA will be able to award 1 week of Summer Camp to 38 students!
